1° Edition of Fienarte, Land Art in Livigno
July 16 2005 - The hay, thanks at the expert hands of international artists, will take the differenter shapes, becoming art for "Fienarte - International Intervention of Landart" |

Every year, in fact, of summer with Pietrarte and of winter with Art in Ice, the Land Art occupies the valley of Livigno with sculptures made of natural materials, of the territory, that do not damage the landscape but that live in symbiosis with it.
This summe, in occasion of Fienarte, Livigno will entertain six teams of artists, each composed from a sculptor and from two assistants, that will have a week to realize a sculpture, using only the hay of the valley.
Will be the sculptors to involve the public in the crreation of their works of art, giving origin at moments of solidariety and friendship between the people attending and the same nature. Will partecipate: Francesco Cocquio, Ilio Fiengo, Milvia Quadrio, Donato Linzalata, MariaCristina Galli, Verena Paula Simeoni.
The artists will have available the valley of the Teola, long the river Spöl to create their works, and the visitors will be able to admire them during their excursions.
