International Sculpture Symposium July 23 2005 - Carrara entertains the 16^ edition of International Symposium of Sculpture that sees the partecipation of eleven italian and foreign artists.
From july 23 at august 18, Carrara will entertains the XVI edition of the International Symposium of Sculpture. The edition 2005, that will be inaugurated at 06.30pm in Alberica square, presents a considerable novelty: the eleven sculptors called to partecipate at the symposium will work directly the marble in the marble bacines: in the Apuane, in the Piazzale of Fantiscritti, in the Ponti of Vara and in a gallery where the visitors will follow the work of the sculptors. Alberica square will instead entertain a rich program of events and cultural appointments: concerts, meetings with the artists, discussions and a review of cinema. In the square, thanks at the mudimedia instruments and screens, will be possible to follow the work of the sculptors that make in the pits.
