Large size works by Gianni Asdrubali, Carlo Ciussi, Gianni Colombo, Igino Legnaghi, Pino Pinelli, Bruno Querci, Nelio Sonego, Mauro Staccioli, Grazia Varisco, Rudi Wach ....
The Associazione Culturale Amici di Morterone Onlus presents on Sunday 25 June 2006, at 11 a.m., the exhibition "Morterone. Natura e Arte. Interventi all'aperto" (Morterone. Nature and Art. Open-air interventions) where large size works by Gianni Asdrubali, Carlo Ciussi, Gianni Colombo, Igino Legnaghi, Pino Pinelli, Bruno Querci, Nelio Sonego, Mauro Staccioli, Grazia Varisco, Rudi Wach will be showed.

The exhibition proposes to join in both ideal and concrete form works already present in Morterone, together with others realized for this occasion, that integrate in the environment, and it includes the installation of open-air sculptures and the exhibition of works on the walls of the houses.

The idea of the Open-air Museum of Contemporary Art of Morterone was born in the mid-1980s with the purpose of revitalizing Morterone on its own roots, by beautifing the territory also with art works of the purest creativity, in order to make it, respecting its wilderness, in relation to the scientific-philosophic visions of the "Natura Naturans" poetic, a real poetic signal in order to become a concrete cultural point of reference that supports a cognitive and behavioural morality, opening to a wider common conscience, not indifferent also to the necessity of protecting the environment in its suitability for human being in an age when it is deeply transformed by the action of man himself.

On the occasion of the exhibition a book that documents the twenty-year relationship among the artists who take part to the exhibition and Morterone, also in relation to Carlo Invernizzi's poetic world and poems, will be published.
