The Arm of the Carabineers, been based on 1814, is a body of the Italian Army. Depute primarily to the military actions and to the security piblic, the Carabineers have a widespread presence on all territory where they develop tasks whether to direct service of citizens, or in the struggle to the crime and in the protection of the artistic property. Modigliani and the Montparnasse AdventureOn 22 January 1920 Amedeo Modigliani was taken, unconscious, to the Hôpital de la Charité in Paris and died there two days later at the age of only 36, struck down by the then incurable disease of tubercular meningitis that he had miraculously managed to survive twenty years earlier.
