With this words Torquato Tasso persuades to make us visit to the splendid town situated in the eastern part of the lombard plain, on the right shore of Mincio. The mantovana cusine resents of the geographical position and is presented like a mixed of lombard and emiliano. Its speciality are the tortelli to base of pumpkin, the rice to the mantovana, the pasta with beans ans sausages. Like sweets are to taste the cakes daisy and the "sbrisolona" while like DOC wine find the Lambrusco mantovano and the Colli Morenici of Garda. |
