In 609 the temple was given from the emperor Foca at pope Bonifacio IV and was changed in the Church of Santa Maria at Martyres. In its inside there are the tombs of the royals of Italy, of Baldassarre Peruzzi, of Taddeo Zuccari and the tomb of Raffaello.
