Notes
Sant'Angelo gate is called also Gate of the Armeni because it is in the vicinity of the small church of San Matteo of the Armeni. The structure consists in a emblatted tower built between the XIII and the XIV century. It was restored from the architect Ambrogio Maitani, which changed the new civic door, raising it at quarter-deck and providing it of a ditch.
