Rotonda della Besana

One of the most original works of the milanese eighteenth century. It is a circular structure in red bricks around a church at four arms with central octagon. Currently, after works of restore, the area enclosex a public garden. Are developed also art exhibitions and in summer screening at the open; in origin (1713) was a cemetery of the close Ospedale Maggiore and were cramed 150.000 corpses; only at the beginning of the twentieth century the zone was reclaimed.
