With its 53.653 hectares, the Park covers an important part of the territory of the Emilia Romagna and is extended on a ground of 9 commons: Comacchio, Argenta, Ostellato, Goro, Mesola, Codigoro, Ravenna, Alfonsine, Cervia. Numerous are the moniments in it: the Abbey of Pomposa, Sant'Appollinare in Classe and the historic centres of Mesola, Comacchio, Ravenna and Cervia.
