Sulle Orme dei Santi

Prepared by the new Museum of the Cappuccini Cultural Goods, the exhibitione proposes a collection of over 200 holy pictures and sacred images: from the precious models of the beginnings of the Seventeenth century at the personal collection of Father Cassiano Carpaneto da Langasco (reserved above all at the ligurian holy), from the refined cavinet at the real works of art printed from the main publishers of the sector. For all the period of opening the exhibition there will be guided visits, cultural meetings and concerts. The musical review Meeting with the interpreter (april-june) proposes concerts of pianists of all the world engaged in programs that alternate at the classic repertory less known fragments. The guided visits will be in the days of thursday may 5, saturday may 21, thursday june 2 and saturday june 18 (03.00pm). The Days of the exchange (sunday may 8 and saturday june 18, 03.00pm-06.00pm) are instead deidcated at the collectors and passionates of images for exchanges and purchases. The exhibition offers also the occasion to visit the new Museum of Cappuccini Cultural Goods of Genoa wanted from Father Mariano Testa (Provincial Father of the Province of Genoa of the Frati Minori Cappuccini) and from Fra Giampiero Gambaro (Father Superior of the Convent of Santa Caterina of Portoria). The museum, realized by the architect Giampiero Buffoni, is directed from Fra Vittorio Casalino.
