Called from the Milanesi Ca' Granda. Wanted from Francesco Sforza in 1456 to gather in a sole seat the hospitals of the city.
The central body was projected from Filarete.
The inside is dominated from a majestic portico court with pillars and grand fortress. Was used as hospital until 1942, but now it entertains the chancellors of some academic of Università degli Studi.
