Until the beginnings of the century this could be the sole decorative fountain of the city, giving the name to the milanese famous square. The primordial draws are of Piermarini but at the primitive structure were made some changes and at the end of 1700 was added the group between the inferior and superio bath, formed from sirens on delphins.
