The palace is of XVI century and was seat of the governong grigione. In 1917 the interiors and part of the facade were restored on project of Antonio Giussani. The building has preserved the ancient portal of 1553 that put in the inside courtyard where there is a portico surmounted from lodges, with decorations to grey drawing typical of the valley.
Now the Palace entertains the seat of Sondrio Common.
