Chiesa di San Lorenzo

Built in the V century, the Basilica of San Lorenzo presents a plan at shape of cross and was place of sepulture of some important aostani bishops. Here was recovered the tombs of the bishop Agnello, died in the 528, of the bishops Grato and Gallo (V century). The remains of the aboriginal plaochristian basilica, were found under the slow-gothic small church of San Lorenzo. Today the church is seat of numerous temporary exhibitions.
