Santa Maria del Carmine

This three-nave church was built by the Carmelites between the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries. After being enlarged and provided with a cloister in 1466, the church was restored in the second quarter of the twentieth century in a typical late Gothic style. Inside the church, the visitor can admire a Madonna del Rosario (sixteenth century), a polyptych with a Crucifixion and Saint Lucy between Saint Barbara and Saint Agatha (seventeenth century), and a triptych with Saint Therese and the Crucifix (eighteenth century).
