Immersed in a wonderful park of secular trees, rises the Castle of Camino, that dominates the hills of the Basso Monferrato, covered of woods and vineyards. The Castle was built around the 1000 for defensive aims and widened in next phases until the XVIII century is still now one of the most fine castles of Italy, besides one of the boasts of the Monferrato, either for its acrhitecture or for its perfect condition of preservation.
Vittorio Emanuele II, Umberto I and Vittorio Emanuele III stayed in the Castle, honouring it of their presence; besides, Mussolini from the main balcony inaugurated the aqueduct of the Monferrato. The frescoed rooms, the courtyards and the park are used for cerimonies, cultural meetings, advertisements.
