Castello di Gabiano

The Castle has an imposing manor-house built by Aleramo, marquis of the Monferrato, and enjoys of a wonderful and panoramic sight on all plain and on the opposite hills. The structure has a hard and tormented story, did of sacks and of destructions and works of reorganization. The Castle of Gabiano preserves the medieval features with towers at square and circular plan and imposing building masses. Its presence is imposing and scenographic, with the magnificent inside courtyards, the wells and the numerous foreshortening in medieval style. Present owner is the Cattaneo family, at which is necessary ask the autorization for the visit.
