The origins of the Castle dated back at the roman epoch, when for its strategic position, was chosen for a defenseve installation.
The building of the real Castle was in the next period, around the X-XI century A.D. The next successions are complex and its story is united with the three big nobiliary families: the Nemorus, the Cane and the Grisella. Since 1980 the castle is of private property.
