Castello di Novi Ligure

The original system of the castle of the XIII century was very schematic: an enclosure with irregular plan with an high square tower in the centre. Greatly potentiared in the course of the centuries under the dominion of the Visconti and of the Republic of Genoa, was thenb destroyed in the '700. Only the tower, together a share of the bastions of defence, is outlived. Do not to lose the visit at the labyrinth of galleries, under the tower and the historic centre. The structure is open only in precise days and in the European Day of the Patrimony.
