The Duomo was erected around the IX century in the place where, according the tradition, rised the temple dedicated to Minerva. The facade is work of the great Giovanni Pisano and dated 1285. The Piccolomini Book-Shop, built in 1495 is rich of big works between which the frescos of Pinturicchio.
