The primitive cores of the Ivano Castle is the mastio, of longobard origin, defensive structure placed long Claudia Augusta Altinate road. In the course of the years, were a lot the noble families that lived in this manor-house (the dalla Scala di Verona, the Visconti, the Veneziani, the Wolkenstein and finally the Staudacher, present owners of the Castle). The most ancient entrance war through the village of Ivano and the access at the castle was through a tower of guard, still existent, and on which are visible the symbols of some families. Across the doors with the symbol of the Wolkenstein, is added at the outer courtyard with a fountain and a "historic" acacia batable at the end of the '500.
From this ciurtyard is possible to access athe big room of the old barn, at the seventeeth century chapel and at some abodes. The Castle is now private ownership and can be visited through reservation.
