Castel Noarna

Known also like Castelnuovo Lagarino, Castel Noarna is ancient: probably the hill was a prehistoric village and so a roman emplacement long the road that passed in the vicinity. At the end of the XIII century the castle went over at the Castelbarco, one of the most powerful nobiliary dynasties of the Trentino and in the 1456 those last were turned out fro Londròn. The new owners did realized the frescos of michelangiolesca school of the grand staircase and those of the garden of winter in which camp the symbols of the Londròn, of the Castellalto and of the Arco. In the 1647, the night of the 17 of febraury, the castle was theatre of the famous trial at the witches. The Castle is now of private ownership and can be visited through reservation.
