Like hints the name, Castel Pietra is erected on a edge of rock in the point where, in remote period, were stoped the rock of an enormous landlside. In top there there is the tower of the XIII century and with the ten-years periods were introduced the other finvigorated parts. Of great charm are the Room of the Judgment with frescos of the fifteenth century (Judgment of Salomone, Hunting at the Deer, Hunting at the Bear), the curious small garden at the italian at north-west and the tower of the hangings. Everywhereflutters an atmosphere of mystery, that takes back at the memoery the historic battles, as the manor-house had the rule of emplacement for the imminent Castel Beseno; At first on all the famous Battle of Calliano, with the heroic figure of the captain Roberto Sanseverino, drowned in the Adige (the tombstone is still in the Cathedral of Trento). Todays, is of property of the Barons Cresseri.
