Outpost of the power of the princes bishops of Trento in the Giudicarie, the Castle in the years surronded numerous widening and rehandling, offering so a wide fan of architectonic styles. Of big interest is the chapel of San Martino, decorated from an important cycle of thirteenth-century frescos and the loggia situated between the two principal bodies of factory, also it decorated with frescos of heraldic and profane argument. The structure is now detached seat of the National Museum of the Castle of the Buonconsiglio.
