Castello di Issogne

The castle, belonged for centuries at the Challant's family, reserves still the characteristic of a elegant refined abode of the end of the '400. The castle is rich of pictorial decorations, made from different artists, not always with identity, between the end of the XV and the first part of the XVI century. The fair gate in stone with the profile at keel and the symbol of the Challant's family constituted, in origin, the principal entrance at the castle ans was appeared on the square of the village, for practical reasons the entrance for the visitors in on the west side. From october at february open with hourly 10:00am - 12:30am and 01:30pm - 05:00pm, closed wednesday.
