Built at the end of the Nineteenth century, Chanoux Square is dedicated at the martyr of the valdostana resistance Emile Chanoux. On it is appeared the town hall, that occupys the place of the franciscan convent from the Cordeliers. The building is joined at the structure called Hôtel des Etats, of the 1724, in which werereunited the Assembly of the general States and the Conseil des Commis (real Government of the town).
