The structure is erected between the end of the XI and the beginning of the XII century, on a previous building surely arab, at works of the first norman feudal Rodolfo Bonello. To reach the Castle is necessary to scour the Umberto I Street and go the steps of the Badia.
So appear, in front, the door and the mighty medieval walls of the XI and XII century that a time traced the ancient village. The Castle was object of various transformations in the course of the centuries, the building presents in the installation and in the architectonic structure different superimpositions of style brought to the light during the recent restoration.
