Forte di Gavi

The Fort rises vertically on the built-up area, the structure is the result of numerous interventions effected in various periods. Indoors, on different levels, rise numerous buildings destined, at the epoch, at the accomodation of the troops. Of the Castle remains a square tower of the '400 visible to the inside. During the second world war it worked as field of detention of english soldiers and later on the german used it as prison for the italian. From november at april last entrance at 03.00pm.
