Already Brancaleoni Palace in XIV century, restored by Francesco di Giorgio Martini on commission of Federico da Montefeltro and changed by Genga in the XVI century: the wide rooms make frog at the Yard of Honor formed the customary home of the Dukes, confirming the central role of Casteldurante in the Reinassance. After have placed the first stone to found the Library in 1607, Francesco Maria II della Rovere stayed for more time in the durantina home, where died in 1631.
