The church was built around at the 970 and in the first years of the 1200 was rebuilt in the cistercian romanesque-gothic style, at work of the monks called Florensi. The facade is divided in two parts: in that superior stand out three rose-windows; in the inferior the portal is flanked from two pillaster strips- The church is divided in three naves, under the cupola there is the altar of the Confession, that guards the relics of San Vittorino, Bishop and martyr of Assisi. The church is since 1706 of property of the cassinesi benedectine monks of the monastery adjacent at the church.
