On 12 April 2022, Piacenza Contemporanea will open the exhibition about one of the most exciting periods of art history, seen through the life, the creative path, and the collaborations of the father of the Viennese Secession: Gustav Klimt.
Giovanni Boldini: Peering into the Soul
On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Boldini’s death in Paris in 1931, Palazzo Albergati of Bologna is hosting a major exhibition dedicated to Giovanni Boldini, with more than 90 magnificent works, from 29 October 2021 to 13 March 2022.

The initiative, which is scheduled to run from June 26th to September 13th, 2020, is inaugurating a temporary space for art in Corso Matteotti 5, in Milan, in the very heart of the city.
Modigliani and the Montparnasse Adventure
On 22 January 1920 Amedeo Modigliani was taken, unconscious, to the Hôpital de la Charité in Paris and died there two days later at the age of only 36, struck down by the then incurable disease of tubercular meningitis that he had miraculously managed to survive twenty years earlier.

Geisha and samurai, beautiful women and legendary heroes
The greatest Japanese artists of the 19th century will be on show including Hiroshige, Utamaro, Hokusai, and Kuniyoshi, with a complete panorama of Japanese life in this period through the display of samurai clothes, kimonos, fans and photographs.
